It’s a pretty big deal, that’s for sure.

Today’s No Sweat News Quiz is for free tickets for you to see Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top at the PNC Bank Arts Center.  Incredibly, these two bands have never toured together.  One from Florida, the other from Texas; you’d think they would have hit the road together in the past… but, nope!

By now you ought to know how the No Sweat News Quiz works.  I read 4 stories to our random caller that we ask for at about 7:15am.  Three of the stories were on our No Sweat News feature and one of the stories I made up.  If our random caller correctly identifies the random story then they win the tickets.  If not, we keep going to the phones until we get a winner.

All the No Sweat News episodes are available here on our website, or at least they should be unless there was a technical issue.

• Story 1

  Story number 1 for today’s No Sweat News Quiz: Dateline, the Superbowl. The Frito Lay company will award a pair of Super Bowl tickets to someone who shaves a Dorito-shaped triangle into their head. Yep, right in their hair. A player in Buffalo has that hair dew that’s their inspiration for the contest. Just shave your head, tag them in your post and come up with a name for your new dew. Moral of the story? Is that why Aaron Rogers has a triangle shaved into his hair?
  That’s story number 1 now known as: Only way he’ll make it to the Big Game this year.

• Story 2

  Story number 2 for today’s No Sweat News Quiz:  Dateline, Philadelphia.  Cops in Philly are seeking the public’s help in ID’ing the guy who stole the brass railings off city hall.  They posted the video of the guy wheeling them off in a red grocery cart basically in broad daylight.  Moral of the story?  Just when you thought Philly couldn’t sink any lower, they do!

  That’s story number 2, now known as:  then again selling Philly government buildings as scrap could very well be the best use of them.

• Story 3

  And our 3^rd story for today’s No Sweat News Quiz:  That takes us to New York.

  A guy dressed up as Santa walked into the US Savings and Loan in Greenwich Village and robbed the place.  Made off with about 1400 bucks.  Cops still haven’t found him though because the robbery happened on the exact day and time of the Santa Con celebration and the bank robber just mixed right in with revelers and party goers.  They have zero leads but about 250 suspects dressed as Santa.  Moral of the story?  Crime and comedy, timing is key.

  That’s story number 3, now known as:  Wow, Santa turned out to be the Grinch that day.

• And, story 4

  And our 4^th and final story for today’s No Sweat News Quiz:  Dateline, Pennsylvania.  A woman near Chambersburg had just crashed her electric razor scooter when a person stopped short and jumped out of their pickup truck.  The woman was surprised to watch the person run right past her to the scooter.  Pick it up, toss it in the back of the pick up and drive off.  The truck was seen on a security cam and they released the footage to see if anyone recognized the person.  No word on the condition of the woman but she’s probably ok, other than being down one electric razor scooter.  Moral of the story?  Tough times call for tough criminals.

  That’s story number 4 now known as:  Remind me to stay out of Chambersburg, PA.
