There’s no shortage of insanity in the world today.

That’s why we created the No Sweat News every weekday morning at 7:20.

If a criminal has left their ID behind at the scene of a crime, or a bank robber wrote their “give me all your money” note on a copy of their electric bill (with their home address clearly included) you’ll know you’ll hear about it on the No Sweat News.

But not just that.  You’ll also hear stories about new food developments from the No Sweat News Snack Editor and even an odd story or two from the Science Desk.

This week we enjoyed stories about medical marijuana, a mom who let her ten year old get a tattoo, and even a beer company coming out with a (non-alcoholic) beer for dogs.

On Friday morning we always have a great giveaway on the quiz that follows the No Sweat News.  This week’s No Sweat News Quiz was for free tickets to see Blink 182 at Madison Square Garden next year. Our caller was able to correctly identify the made up story… but can you?

• No Sweat News Quiz Story Number 1

  The first story comes from Florida; which happens to be the Capitol of the No Sweat News. This story involves a drug dealer who apparently has run out of supply and finds something creative to try to pass off as cocaine.

  Well, maybe THIS is the story that is made up.  Story number two deals with a politician from New York who has zero chance of winning anything because he released a long form campaign ad of the most unusual kind.  What kind of campaign ad did he release?  Watch:

  Seriously, so far all the stories could be made up.  Our next story comes from the No Sweat News Stupid Criminal Editor.  This editor is busy, as you well know.  What’s up with this idiot criminal?  Well, she got busted for using a stolen credit card while on a buying spree.  But, it’s the reason why that’s got us scratching our heads.

  Ahhhh, Philadelphia.  You’re our neighbor to the west.  We love you for… well, not really sure.  There’s been some great moments that have made the No Sweat News from Philly.  Like when that cute hitch-hiking robot that made it all the way across Canada got torn to pieces when it hitched into your fair city.  Damn robot didn’t make it a week in America, thanks to Philadelphia.  Today?  Oh, this is a doozie.
