Good morning, Sports fans! It's your boy Davey Mac here back with a fast-moving Sports Report for ya! Playoff action in the NBA and NHL! MLB scores! Eagles make a move! And more! But first!
Did you see what happened to New York Mets ace Max Scherzer? He's been officially suspended ten games by Major League Baseball for having a foreign substance on his glove during a game against the Dodgers earlier in the week.

Scherzer initially appealed the suspension...but later dropped that appeal. He was also fined $5,000 by MLB.

Scherzer was adamant that he only was using rosin...which is legal under MLB rules. The umpires claimed that they asked Scherzer to wash his hands after the second inning...but by the fourth inning his glove was still "sticky."

In any event...this is a minor blow for the Mets. As a pitcher, Scherzer will only lose (at most) two starts. And when he's back...MLB hitters better watch out...no one wants to face Max Scherzer with an ax to grind!
