Did you see the NBA Dunk Contest that everyone is talking about? Little known player Mac McClung went out there and stole the show. McClung won the Contest in exciting fashion. Check out the highlights now!
I mean…this guy is ridiculous. Did you see those dunks?! I’m actually the same height as Mac McClung and I can barely dunk on a seven-foot Nerf hoop!

Yanks' Montas Has Surgery
Yankees starter Frankie Montas had surgery to fix a rotator cuff injury. He will be expected to miss at least 12 weeks (according to the Yankees). The Yanks are hopeful that Montas will be back for the second half of the season. Montas went 1-3 with a 6.35 ERA in eight starts with the Yankees last year after they traded for him. He really needs to step up better than he did.

Beltran Back With Mets
Meanwhile, in Mets camp, Carlos Beltran made his return to the Mets organization recently as Beltran has been hired to be the special assistant to Mets general manager Billy Eppler.

Devils Vs. Kings
The Devils, Rangers, and Flyers were inactive last night. This evening the Devils face the Kings at the Prudential Center. The Devils are 37-15-5 for the season.

The NBA All Star break officially ends today and the NBA regular season resumes. The 76’ers go against the Grizzlies in Philadelphia. The Sixers are 38-19.

Mahomes In Netflix Doc This Summer
Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes was apparently among three NFL quarterbacks to wear a microphone for every game of the 2022 season for a Netflix documentary series that will debut this summer. Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings and Marcus Mariota of the Altanta Falcons also wore mics for the show (called Quarterback). Good for Giants fans. They beat Cousins in the Playoffs and now we can hear him whine during that game!
