If you're near Jersey City, Susan A. suggests this place. It's been around for over 75 years. Traditional bakery turning out Italian pastries from cakes & cannoli to pies & eclairs. Susan said they make the best rum cake she's ever had and the prices are reasonable.

I've been here before. After eating at Amy's Omelette House, we needed to take home some sweets, and boy it was they delicious. Plus they're Warrior-approved.

Lisa and Amy will custom-make any cake, pie, or pastry to your liking. I see their creations all over social media and I'm impressed. Give your business to these local bakers and you won't be disappointed.

Gina S. weighed in: "502 makes the BEST strawberry shortcake I have ever had!! A family member of mine had this cake for a birthday party, and I fell in love. I insisted on knowing where she got the cake so I could have it for my own birthday (and I did)! Everything is so fresh and tastes like my grandmother baked it. 10/10 would recommend 502 to all!!"  They are also known for their Key Lime Pie.

Billy E. mentioned them on the Jersey Food Warriors page, and my friend Renee told me about Jermel Harris and Stepahnie Postell's incredible skills making cheesecake. Family recipes always rock ! If you don't want a whole cheesecake, they do cheesecake in a jar.

They're from Brooklyn!! Marie said: "Been coming here with my parents since I was a child. The best bakery I have ever been to. Staff is always super sweet, super clean and sanitary, reasonable prices, and the bakery itself feels so homey and welcoming, so many delicious treats displayed enough to make you feel like a kid in a candy store again. Whatever you do, always always always get their Italian cookies. The best there is. Highly recommend!" They've been around for well over 40 years.

Kimmee Massi is a killer drummer and an amazing baker. I've known her for over 15 years and I can say that she makes some of the best cupcakes I've ever sunk my teeth into. They create a plethora of varieties for every taste. Confections of a Rockstar is more than the cupcakes that made them famous, their custom cakes for any occasional will bowl you over.

Rose Ann on the Warriors FB page is over the moon about this place. Boston Cream , Lemon Meringue, Chocolate Mousse Pie, Carrot Cake,  Apple Cinnamon Crumb, Blueberry, Butter Rum, Carrot Raisin, Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, Corn, Morning Blend, Orange Cranberry and zucchini loaves. Then there are our Crumb Cakes in plain, chocolate chip, and in season Blueberry, Peach and Cherry.

Great find in a Dutch Farmers Market and it's run by the Amish who were amazing.  Very friendly, great assortment of cakes, cookies, donuts, macaroons, pies popcorn all kinds of goodies! Too many to mention.

I met up with Kim Moran  (Kim from Toms River ) after work a few month ago, and we had one of their savory quiche dishes and coffee. We had to bring the sweets home for our hubbys for dessert. Jenn Dah can't get over the cream puffs, the apple strudel, and some sort of pineapple pastry that she can't go without.

One of Bergen County's best bakeries.  They have solid Black and White Cookies, killer Cannoli Cakes, incredible Italian Pastries and Cookies, Rugelach, and a nice selection of Italian ices and cream ices.

This place has French Macarons!!  All kinds of custom cakes, layer cakes, cookies, pastries and more. They're so good that the Food Network came calling.
