Hey Rat Rockers, it is that time we get over to PNC for this year’s WRATFEST of summer 2023. This year is going to be a huge show as The Rat is bringing by Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, and now up-and-coming rock artist called Ginger.
This is all brought to us by my great friends and favorite beer Miller Lite on August 11th. More information right HERE.
This show happens to fall on this Friday so most of us can party literally like rock stars and get to sleep in on Saturday. We have been waiting for a long time to get Disturbed rocking for us, if you recall we were supposed to have them back in 2020 but the pandemic kicked in and ruined it.
It looks like this one will be a special one as myself your boy Gotts will be all dolled up and the scuttlebutt around the water fountain is that I will be dressed as “Barbie” due to the fact that the movie just came out and made a bunch of money, so when your out at the show whether it be out in the parking lot doing some tail gaiting or inside I’m sure you will find me walking around, especially with an ice cold Miller Lite in my hand.
We have been giving tickets all week long here so make sure you have dialed into 95.9 The Rat if you didn’t get your in yet. This one is going to be a lot of fun and I look forward to meeting you and your friends and or family who are ready to party.
Right now though I’ve decided to come up with a checklist if you will that make sure you got everything you need to have the best time with us.

1. MILLER LITE
You got to always take care of the proud sponsor, that is why we are going with my favorite beer Miller Lite. Im sure you always talk them up and If you have seen me out and about it is always my go-to beer of choice.
It is a perfect beer for any party event because it will not make you feel all bloated inside and slow you down at this year’s Ratfest. You know it is always “Miller Time” on my clock.
2. COOLERS WITH ICE
This is a must have because were are we putting the Miller Lites to keep cold but not to mention you got to keep whatever food you bring nice and fresh.

3. BEACH CHAIRS, TABLES AND POP UP TENT
While you are out in the parking lot doing your pre-gaming you need to be comfortable before the gates open up so why not get there relax and make sure you eating and having a nice drink sitting back plus with the tent you will be in the shade and leaving your troubles on the NJ Parkway before you come in.

4. CORN HOLE/GAMES
Got to have some extra fun and if you’re packing up a bunch of people or joining a bunch of people, it is always fun to grab a couple of bags and meet even new people who are always asking if they can get the next game. It’s always a great time and the last time I was at a show at PNC I got to be on a bunch of teams and had laughs for hours.
5. MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE IS CHARGED OR BRING A CHARGER
This is really important because as you know that is how you get your tickets through the “Ticketmaster Account.” Make sure that your phone is all powered up not only for the tickets but If you lose someone or if an emergency happens you have a phone ready to go. Plus how else can you take photos of all the great times you will want to share with everyone who couldn’t be with us? ( I’m sure you will want a photo with me Gotts in that crazy outfit too LOL )

6. BABY WIPES
Always a great thing to have while in the parking lot not just and PNC but any event where you will be outside tailgating. If you have to be to a bunch of shows you know how wacky those porta johns can be. So make sure you bring a couple of them and really feel clean after the business gets done.

7. WATER
Always need water and after a couple of beers, it is always a great thing to have to make sure you are not getting too crazy before the gates open. Even after the gates close and the show is over grab water just to stay hydrated and it will help for the morning after, for sure.

8. SUNSCREEN
Being on the hot pavement and out and about you definitely don’t want to be all burnt up! Get a can of that and spray it on right before you crack your first Miller Lite and start up the grill or dig into your food. Check this guy out!

9. BAIL MONEY FOR GOTTS
This right here is very important right here because I have to be back on the air on Saturday for the “Saturday Night House Party” It will be really difficult to take your request from a jail cell. LOL
