Most places will resume Independence Day activities that were either canceled or altered in the past couple of years. Scroll below to see some of the fun activities taking place in Ocean County this summer.
June 26, 2022 Fireworks and Food Truck Festival in Jackson Township from 4 to 9 pm at Johnson Memorial Park

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk 4th of July Fireworks on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant at dark.
Enjoy a scenic cruise featuring a variety of entrees while you cruise along the calm inland waters of the Manasquan River. Sliced Top Round of Beef, Whipped Potatoes with Chef’s Gravy, Rosemary Chicken, Fresh Vegetables Du Jour, Italian Meatballs, Penne all Vodka, Tossed Salad, Assorted Dressings, Italian Bread & butter. Freshly brewed coffee, tea & decaf throughout the cruise. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies served butler style.
Cash Bar is available for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. No food or beverages may be brought on board.

Beachwood has their annual fireworks at Beachwood Beach, and beaches in Pine Beach, Ocean Gate, and Island Heights along the Toms River that start when it gets dark, around 9 pm. Plus, Beachwood has vendors, food trucks, and activities in the park at Beachwood’s beach during the afternoon and evening.
