Worst Fears Realized: Astros Throw A No-Hitter To Tie Up The World Series

Good morning, gang, it’s Davey Mac here and I ain’t gonna lie…I’m gettin’ a little nervous with this World Series already!   The Houston Astros just evened up the Fall Classic…

Good morning, gang, it's Davey Mac here and I ain't gonna lie...I'm gettin' a little nervous with this World Series already!   The Houston Astros just evened up the Fall Classic at two games apiece against the Philadelphia Phillies as this thing has gotten tight!

Even worse...the Astros pitching staff...led by starter Cristian Javier...threw a combined no-hitter.   It's the first time since 1956 (when Don Larsen threw a perfect game for the Yankees) that a no-hitter has been thrown in the World Series.

Now...in full disclosure...I'm not a Phillies fan.   I'm a Yankees fan.   I mean...when I was a kid and we got Philadelphia Channel 29 here at the Jersey Shore...I did used to watch some Phillies baseball.   I always like the Phillie Phanatic and Juan Samuel and Von Hays and, of course, Mike Schmidt.

But still...I'm a Yankees fan through and through.

Which brings me to my final point.   While I actively root for the Bronx Bombers and not the Phils...I am pulling HARD for the Phillies in this series!

Why?

You know why!   The Houston Astros are cheating bastards!   THAT'S why!   They cheated in 2017...hell...they're probably cheating now!   Screw 'em!

Let's go Phillies!!   I'm Davey Mac...and that's my two cents!

Kyrie & Nets Apologize

The Nets were off but they still made news yesterday.   Kyrie Irving and the Nets will each donate $500,000 due to Irving's controversial social media posts about a movie and book that have anti-Semitic sentiment.   In a joint statement that was released, Irving said he opposes all forms of hatred.   Kyrie also acknowledged the "negative impact" he had on the Jewish community.
