Actor Tom Sizemore has died at the age of 61.   Sizemore was a respected character actor who had memorable roles in some classic movies.

Sizemore had been in a coma since suffering a stroke and a brain aneurysm.   He was taken off life support by his family.

Here’s a look at his Top 5 films (with video clips).

  • 5.) True Romance

Sizemore played two roles really well: cops and soldiers.   This role is the latter and his performance as the narcotics detective trying to bust Christian Slater for a major drug deal is great stuff.

  • 4.) Black Hawk Down

Excellent war movie based on a true story in which Sizemore was fantastic as usual.

  • 3.) Natural Born Killers

Sizemore gives an electric performance in this high-adrenaline crime thriller from Oliver Stone (and written by Quentin Tarantino).

  • 2.) Heat

Michael Mann’s epic crime masterpiece is only made better with Tom Sizemore as the muscle man in Robert DeNiro’s crew.

  • 1.) Saving Private Ryan

Sizemore delivers an incredible performance in this war classic directed by the legendary Steven Spielberg.
