…Where it’s being reported that presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. will not have New York Jets superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers as his running mate. Kennedy intends to announce Nicole Shanahan, a lawyer from California, as his running mate. So for now, the Rodgers-as-Vice-President saga seems to be over. And that’s a good thing for the Jets.

Obviously, Gang Green wants Rodgers on the field and not the campaign trail. It’s an absolutely huge year for Rodgers…and his legacy is at stake. Aaron Rodgers came to the Jets to win a Super Bowl…and that needs to be his only mission.

Especially after Rodgers was injured after only four plays into the 2023 season and was out for the entire, the qb really needs to be out there competing for his team. And let’s be honest, trying to prepare for a debate or rally or whatever you have Rodgers, and the team, totally distracted.

Over to basketball…where the Nets lost to the Spurs last night…122 to 115…as the Nets have really fallen on hard times. Brooklyn has lost three in a row and has dropped to 26 and 42 (11th in the Eastern Conference).

March Madness Men's Bracket Announced
The March Madness brackets were released yesterday and UConn, Houston, Purdue, North Carolina secure No. 1 seeds. We’ll see if Jersey City’s Danny Hurley can lead UCONN to back-to-back championships after Hurley led the Huskies to the title least year. Speaking of Jersey City, St. Peter’s once again is back in the tournament. They take on Tennessee in the First Round on Thursday. Go, Danny Hurley and Peacocks!

Cole To Miss 3-4 Weeks For Elbow
Baseball. The Yankees announced that Cy Young-winner Gerrit Cole will miss three to four weeks with nerve irritation in his throwing elbow. Cole, for his part, seems optimistic…saying, “I just got to a certain point where we just didn’t hit baseline and recovery. That’s important at this time of the year.”
