Good morning, Sports fans! It’s Davey Mac here with another Sports Report for ya today and, boy, it’s a busy day! Lots going on in basketball and football! Plus, baseball and hockey news! But first!
Sports broadcaster and reporter Trey Wingo (of the Pro Football Network) is tweeting that, according to his sources, superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers is “open” to playing next season with the Jets. Here’s his tweet…
Per sources. Aaron Rodgers and the Jets had conversations today. While nothing is imminent Rodgers is open to the idea of going to NY

Oh, boy…things are getting exciting over at the Jets offices! First of all…the fact that Wingo tweeted this around one o’clock in the morning tells me that this could be for real. Wingo is a former ESPN anchor and currently works at the Pro Football Network. I’m sure he has very good sources. If you’re sharing info like this in the wee hours of the morning…it could be one of those “where there’s smoke there’s fire” situations.

Meanwhile, ESPN’s Dan Graziano says the decision is imminent! And Rodgers could be leaning towards the Jets’ direction!

Anyway…back to Rodgers…if he joins the Jets…then they instantly become a Super Bowl contender. The Jets defense is legit…they can stop the run…they can stop the pass. This team is ready to win…and win big. They just need a QB. And in Aaron Rodgers…they may have just found their man. I’m Davey Mac…that’s my Sports Two Cents.
