It’s your buddy Davey Mac here and I’m back with another Sports Report and a confession.   Please sit down.   This is serious.   What I’m about to say may shock you to your core.

Folks, I’ve been a diehard Yankee fan since I was six years old in 1983.   I have watched literally thousands of Yanks games in my life.   And, yet, watching the Bronx Bombers right now is a torturous and painful experience comparable only to what Butch and Marcellus went through in Pulp Fiction.

And it’s because of this damned Aaron-Judge-going-after-Roger-Maris-home-run-chase.   Judge is just ONE homer away from tying Maris’ 61…but in the roughly 25 plate appearances since he slugged his 60th…Judge has not hit one out.

Hey, I’m not complaining.   Aaron Judge is an AMAZING ball player.   But getting filled with the butterflies…each and every single at-bat…wondering, “Is THIS when he does it?”…it’s TORTURE!!

Sorry but not sorry!   This is worse treatment than how Buffalo Bill hosted that lady and her dog in Silence Of The Lambs!   I mean it!   I can’t take it anymore!

It’s cruel and unusual punishment on the level of Andy Dufresne in Shawshank Redemption, I tells ya!   And I need to escape this baseball prison!

Anyway, I obviously have lost my mind!   It was a long time coming!   I’m been talking to trees and hugging mailboxes for quite some time!   It’s just that the current Judge homerless streak has finally driven me over the edge!  Ahhhhhhahahahahahahaha!!   I’m Davey Mac and this has been my two cents!!

  • Yanks Lose To Blue Jays---No Homers For Judge

Double negative for the Yankees last night as, first, the Yanks lost to the Blue Jays…3 to 2…and, secondly, Aaron Judge did NOT hit a home run as Judge remains stuck at 60 for the year.   Judge, of course, is in pursuit of the American League record of 61 home runs that is held by former Yankee Roger Maris in 1961.   Meanwhile, the Yanks still have a seven-and-a-half game lead over the Blue Jays for first place in the A.L. East with nine games to play.   The Yankees and Blue Jays play again tonight in Toronto.
