Volunteer Day to Support U.S. Military Working Dog Teams

The Purr’n Pooch Foundation for Animals will host a Volunteer Day on Saturday, January 24th at 2:30pm for businesses, schools, organizations and individuals of all ages who would like to participate in helping prepare donations for shipment for U.S. Military Working Dog Teams that have been deployed to the Middle East. Donated items will go to “Operation Military Care K-9,” a project run by the United States War Dogs Association. The Volunteer Day will be held at Purr’n Pooch’s Training Hall at 86 Gilbert Street West in Tinton Falls.

Volunteers will receive service credits for their participation. If interested in volunteering or for more information, email info@purrnpooch.com.

Donations will also be accepted the day of the event. Through January 24th, the Purr’n Pooch Foundation for Animals in association with the U.S. War Dogs Association will be collecting donations for U.S. Military Working Dog Teams deployed to the Middle East. Donations may be dropped-off at the reception areas at Purr’n Pooch Pet Resorts, located at 86 Gilbert Street West in Tinton Falls and 2424 Highway 35 in Wall.

Office hours are Monday thru Friday 7am to 7pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am to 5pm.
