The Shrewsbury Chorale Presents "Lest We Forget" Concert

The Shrewsbury Chorale, along with the Garden State Orchestra and Chorus, under the direction of Anthony La Gruth, presents “Lest We Forget,” a concert to commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day. The concert will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 7:30pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Freehold, 118 West Main St., Freehold. The program features the beautiful “German Requiem” by Johannes Brahms, “A Survivor from Warsaw” by Arnold Schoenberg, and “Lincoln Portrait” by Aaron Copland. In a gesture of support and remembrance, the Shrewsbury Chorale will donate 10% of the concert proceeds to the Center for Holocaust Studies at Brookdale Community College.
