Red Bank’s own The Pipes and Drums of the Atlantic Watch will be hosting its annual Fundraiser Dinner, “Get Your Irish Up,” on Saturday, February 25th. Tickets cost $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Price of admission includes dinner and an open wine and beer bar. In addition, this year’s event also boasts traditional Irish Ceilidh with Jennifer Mylod and the Boys of Ocean County, as well as dance with Sinead Curran. In addition, there will be a performance by Monmouth County’s premier pipe and drum band, The Atlantic Watch. This year’s event will be held at Middletown VFW post 2179, located at 1 Vets Lane, off Route 36 in Port Monmouth. Festivities begin at 7pm. Proceeds from the dinner help support this totally volunteer organization, which welcomes members of all ages and backgrounds and offers free lessons in Highland piping and drumming. The Atlantic Watch is a 501C (3) tax-exempt organization.
