Attention all Community Members! It’s that time again to think about our Gift of Warmth Project. St. Francis Community Center’s annual holiday project is underway and we need your help. This project is focused on keeping the children in our community warm throughout the winter. In past years, this project has provided over 800 children with blankets, clothing and footwear.

If you are interested in being a part of this year’s project, you can help in the following ways:

Sponsor a family: provide “Gifts of Warmth” to all children in a particular family. If you would like to sponsor a family or need more information, please call 609-494-8861 ext.194.

Monetary Donations (including gift cards) may be mailed to: 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Long Beach Township, NJ 08008 or dropped off at the front desk of the Community Center.

Grab a Tag! Tags with gift requests are located at St. Francis Community Center and at the Brant Beach Church. Tags are also available at trees located throughout the community: Mud City Crab House and The Old Causeway in Manahawkin, Farias on Long Beach Island and Murphy’s Market in Beach Haven.

Help us attain our goal of serving the children of 275 families within our community. Gifts should be returned no later than December 12th at the St. Francis Community Center foyer. Distribution of the Gift of Warmth Project begins on December 17th in the Surf City Church. Information can also be found at www.stfranciscenterlbi.org.

If you need additional information please contact St. Francis Community Center at 609-494-8861 or email: kalloco@stfrancislbi.org.
