The Ocean County Library is seeking submissions from high school filmmakers for the ninth annual Student Film Festival.

Submissions cover a wide variety of categories, including music video, short feature, news, animation and advertisement. Students do not need to attend school in Ocean County to submit a film. All submissions must be from New Jersey students of high school age.

The deadline for submissions is March 4th. Entry requirements and the applications can be found on the Ocean County Library website http://theoceancountylibrary.org/filmfest or at any Ocean County Library branch.

Films will be shown at a red carpet event at the Ocean County Library Toms River branch, 101 Washington Street, on Saturday, April 18th.

The Ocean County Library Student Film Festival is sponsored by the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission, the Kiwanis Clubs, Entenmann’s, Starbucks and the Ocean County Library.
