Music program at Ocean County Library helps children with autism and their family

Six branches of the Ocean County Library will present “Music with Friends,” January through April. The music and play programs are designed for children with autism and their family members. All family members will be given the opportunity to sing, move, drum and use rhythm instruments. “Music with Friends” will offer a place to network, gain support and build relationships. It will allow children with special needs to express themselves in their own unique way. All ages are welcome. The program is free. It will be offered in the Barnegat, Brick, Lacey, Manchester, Plumsted and Toms River branches.
