The Leta Kids Pumpkin Express is an annual event that raises money to find a cure for juvenile diabetes. On Sunday October 13th from 9am to 1pm families can participate in a fun filled time while helping this worthy cause. Located in Brick at the Laurelton Firehouse on Rt. 88 West, across from the Jersey Paddler and Home Depot, the Leta family and friends donate their time and talent by painting ordinary pumpkins, offering them for donations and contributing 100% of the proceeds to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. The day offers visitors 1000 painted pumpkins to choose from, while artists paint custom requests directly on these orange gourds.
