Prolific playwright Joe Simonelli in collaboration with the Brook Art Center, will present his popular play Old Ringers at the historic Brook Theater in Bound Brook, NJ. For four performances only on August 2, 3, 4, and 5, Simonelli will stage his uproarious adult bawdy comedy about four senior women who are trying to fight the shrinking economy and their shrinking pocketbooks by opening up a home phone sex service. A money making plan they conjured up after answering a wrong number and discovering the caller was willing to pay $50 for a sexy five-minute conversation.
Mr. Simonelli is an award-winning playwright whose engaging titles are performed throughout the U.S. and Canada. He has won three NJ ACT Perry Awards for his plays and been nominated over ten times. His agent, GaryDaSilva, remarks, “I represent such notable playwrights as Neil Simon, Larry Gelbart, and Mart Crowley.
