PLUMSTED TOWNSHIP – Temperatures are rising, and the Custom Blend Band will have the acoustic licks to match them to start the summer season at the Ocean County Library Plumsted Branch, 6:30 PM Monday, June 2.
Joe Zavacki (guitar), Maria Petrone (mandolin) and Paul Petrone (guitar, banjo, fiddle) will heat up the night with their broad repertoire of country, bluegrass, folk and light rock.
The Custom Blend Band’s popularity mushroomed quickly after its 2009 debut at Waretown’s Albert Music Hall. The group is a fixture there as well as at the Acoustic Musicians Guild in Brick, Ocean County Artists Guild in Island Heights, Bluegrass & Oldtime Music Association in Little Silver, Barnegat’s municipal gazebo, farmers’ markets, country clubs and numerous Ocean County Library branches.
