Get Scared With Scaredy Squirrel at Ocean County Library

Area children are used to coming to Ocean County Library to hear their favorite stories read to them by library staff, but this fall they will have the chance to see the stories of Scaredy Squirrel come to life. The series of Scaredy Squirrel books is extremely popular worldwide, having won several international literature awards.

The following branches will host Scaredy Squirrel puppet shows:

Little Egg Harbor branch, 290 Mathistown Rd., Wednesday, October 3rd at 10:30am.

Upper Shores branch, 112 Jersey City Ave., Lavallette, Wednesday, October 3rd at 1pm.

Barnegat branch, 112 Burr St., Monday, October 8th at 10:30am.

Tuckerton branch, 380 Bay Ave., Monday, October 8th at 2pm.

Toms River branch, 101 Washington St., Friday, October 12th at 10:30am.

Lakewood branch, 301 Lexington Ave., Friday, October 12th 2pm.

Stafford branch, 129 N. Main St., Manahawkin, Tuesday, October 16th at 2pm.

Berkeley branch, 30 Station Rd., Thursday, October 18th at 10am.

Manchester branch, 21 Colonial Dr., Thursday, October 18th at 6:30pm.

Island Heights branch, 121 Central Ave., Wednesday, November 14th at 10:30am.
