Claiming Hurricane Sandy Losses On Your Federal Tax Return

To help area residents effected during Hurricane Sandy, Ocean County Library will host the workshop “Claiming Hurricane Sandy Losses On Your Federal Tax Return.”

Lead by H&R Block Master Tax Adviser Michele Sheft, the program will address the forms and paperwork required for filing storm related losses on your federal tax return. Attendees will learn how to calculate and claim a loss related to Hurricane Sandy damage.

The dates and locations for the workshop are:

Monday, January 28th, 7pm at the Long Beach Island branch, 217 South Central Avenue.

Thursday, February 1st, 7pm at the Little Egg Harbor branch, 290 Mathistown Road.

Tuesday, February 5th, 7pm at the Lacey branch, 10 East Lacey Road, Forked River.

Monday, March 11th, 7pm at the Point Pleasant Borough branch, 834 Beaver Dam Road.

Wednesday, March 20th, 7pm at the Toms River branch, 101 Washington Street.
