American Legion Department’s “Veterans Forum”

Toms River American Legion Post 129On Saturday, November 7, 2015, the American Legion Department of New Jersey will be hosting a “Veterans Forum” at Toms River American Legion Post 129, 2015 Church Road, Toms River, NJ. This Forum will take place from 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m., with the opportunity for those who attend to visit Vendor and Service Provider tables following the Forum.
Although the Forum is open to all Veterans, the American Legion is especially asking those who have served since 9/11 to include current active duty, National Guard and reserve members to please consider attending. The American Legion is the largest Veterans Service Organization with over 2.5 million members and many great programs to go with its commitment of “Serving those who have Served.”
Besides learning about what the Legion can do for Veterans and its members, those who attend will hear briefings on VA and State benefits they may be eligible for, and meet Veterans from the same timeframe in which they served they can talk and relate to.
