Out of the Darkness Community Walk

Join Carl Craft and The RAT Pack at Bar A for this year’s Out of the Darkness Walk to support suicide prevention and awareness. Together, we’ll walk to bring hope, healing, and strength to our community.

Event Schedule

• 8:00 AM – Walk Day Activities begin

• 8:45 AM – Opening Ceremony

• 9:00 AM – Walk Starts

Walk Route

We’ll head out from Bar A up 16th Ave to the boardwalk, turning north to 5th Ave before looping back to 16th Ave. The route is paved, mostly flat, and about 3 miles long with benches along the way for rest stops.

• 🎗 Honor Beads – Show your personal connection to the cause.

• 💙 Loss & Healing Area – A quiet space for reflection and support.

• 👕 Walk T-shirts – Raise $150+ and earn a free shirt (must be picked up on walk day).

• 🎟 Raffles & Silent Auction – Enter to win great prizes, plus a 50/50!

• 🍽 Free Lunch – All walkers are invited to stay for lunch in the outside back area of Bar A after the walk.

• 🚻 Facilities – Bar A restrooms will be open.

• 🎉 Carl Craft & The RAT Pack On-Site! – Don’t miss the RAT crew with games, prizes, and plenty of rock & roll energy throughout the day.

Parking

Parking is limited—please carpool if possible. Free or metered street parking may be available nearby.

Accessibility

• Single paved route option (3 miles, mostly flat).

• Benches available along the boardwalk.

• Expect a large crowd and music throughout the day.
