| 9th Annual Family Fun Fest and Fishing Tournament Come on out and enjoy a day of fun and fall foliage to support The Maximilian Foundation’s mission of Prevention! The Maximilian Foundation supports programs that prevent self-destructive behaviors created by adolescent insecurities; strengthening the education of our young people by nourishing character, building confidence and growing the life skills needed to sustain better choices. The Maximilian Foundation is having their 9th Annual Family Fun Fest and Fishing Tournament on Sunday, November 2, 2025 noon to dusk. This event is open to the public and will be at The Grove at the Elks Lodge #2340, 520 Hilliard Blvd., Manahawkin with FREE ADMISSION! All You Can Eat Wristbands (Adults) – Adults – $25.00 Kids Wristband Package – Children (12 & Under) – $20.00 Includes Food and All Activities at the Event Children (5 & Under) – Free Mike Corliss will be emceeing this event with local talent; Annie Burg, Rob Connolly and Steamboat Messiah, a Magician’s act. We will also have Freckles the Clown with balloons and face painting, a huge bouncy house, local race car driver Ronnie Pavia, as well as a photoshoot opportunity with alpacas and other games for kids and adults. There will be an Awards ceremony for the Fishing Tournament, special drawings, ticket drop auction, cash bar. We will have local craft beer by Hidden Sands Brewery and craft vendors with wreaths, diamond paintings, decorated bottles, glass work and more. There is a Captains meeting at 6 p.m. and a one-hour complimentary bar 6:30-7:30 Saturday, November 1st at the Elks Lodge #2340, 520 Hilliard Blvd., Manahawkin for the anglers only where the rules and regulations are explained to the captains and their crews.
