Saturday and Sunday, October 4th and 5th in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island. You’ll find great end-of-season bargains under the big top at the Annual Merchants Mart on Saturday, the 4th. On Sunday, it’s the Annual Chower Cook-Off Classic! Taste the best chowder recipes from the area’s leading restaurants and vote for your favorites! This year, the theme is “Clamicon” so come dressed as your favorite comic book, movie or tv hero and enter the free “Clamicon Costume Contest” sponsored by yours truly, The Rat!!
