A little bit of a different Talkin’ Rock today.
First up, it’s legendary drummer, Liberty DeVitto. The former Billy Joel band member put out a book this summer and is dropping a new album with his band, The Slim Kings. We talk about those things, his favorite Billy Joel album, the passing of Neil Peart and Eddie Van Halen, playing and creating music at 70 and more.
Comedian, Steve Byrne is up next. His latest project is a movie called “The Opening Act”. His somewhat biographical and Steve has some funny responses to talking about the movie. He talks about working with Vince Vaughn and Peter Billingsly, the “Spinal Tap” of comedy comparisons, the comedy community and more.
