This week, we have three guests sharing their stories, who have become advocates for disability accessibility in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Mike D’Altrui is the race director for the Sea Girt 5K, Scott Chesney, Ambassador for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation and Sam Jarmen, Ocean Grove Lifeguard. The Sea Girt 5 K benefits area nonprofits each year as well as the Sea Girt Recreation Department. Hear all about this 30 year tradition and a special foundation, the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. Scott will share his success in surviving and thriving after suffering a spinal stroke at the age of 15.
