This week’s guest is Kim Guadagno, the new Executive Director for Mercy Center of New Jersey, located in Asbury Park. Mercy Center began when the Sisters of Mercy, founded in 1831 in Dublin Ireland to serve the poor, purchased and renovated 1106 Main Street, Asbury Park and incorporated under the title of Mercy Center. The building has been completely renovated and now has a large food pantry, kitche , offices and group meetings. Mercy Center provides many programs and services, most notably an all-girls Christian School for grades 5-8, Community Victim and Witness Advocacy Program, Emergency Services to help with rent, utilities, food and clothing, and education.
