Each year The Partnership For A Drug-Free New Jersey hosts a competition that challenges NJ high school students to produce original music with an anti-drug message.  The “Your Song! Your Voice! Shout Down Drugs NJ” competition is a great talent showcase that awards recording contracts to 3 winners from across the Garden State.

In 2020 the competition transitioned from an in-person event to an online virtual concert.  This year’s competition will be hosted by the Rat’s own Afternoon Drive host “The Real Deal” Jimmy Steal!  You can watch the event at shoutdowndrugs.com this Thursday.  Jimmy will announce the winners live on 95.9 The Rat following the conclusion of the concert around 6:40 pm.
