This week’s guest is Anthony Valente, Executive Director for The Partnership For a Drug Free New Jersey, as well as Brad Billhimer, Ocean County Prosecutor. Partnership for a Drug Free NJ was created in was created in 1992 as a substance abuse prevention alliance to localize, strengthen, and deepen initiatives, drug free assistance and parent education throughout the state. All programs are available free of charge to the residents of New Jersey. They are teaming up with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office to combat the opioid epidemic in Ocean County. Since the pandemic, there has been an increase of opioid use in Ocean County.
