The Atlantic City Scuba Show will host an ROV dive tank challenge. Visitors can pilot an actual ROV and battle for top spots on a leaderboard.

The event runs June 6-7 at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

Scuba.Tech, a nonprofit that applies diving and underwater robotics to push marine science forward, will manage the hands-on challenge. Team members will deliver talks and demonstrations on photogrammetry throughout the show. They'll field questions about jobs in marine science, offshore work, and underwater industries.

According to Deeper Blue.com, a heated 15,000-gallon tank will sit on the exhibit hall floor. Certified professionals will oversee each session, and gear will be supplied for attendees aged 10 and over. Discover Scuba sessions will run across both days for those who want to test out diving.

An ROV simulator will allow guests to conduct virtual shipwreck missions. Attendees can also operate underwater survey tools from real marine operations, including photogrammetry rigs used in research projects.

Tickets grant access to the Try Dive Pool, the ROV challenge, a shark cage photo opportunity and a VR dive to the Mars shipwreck. The Mars is a 460-year-old Swedish navy flagship that sank in 1564 and was found again in 2011.

The shark cage photo requires no certification or wetsuit. Guests step inside and pose.

The show will present the PSI-PCI Visual Cylinder Inspection course. This training covers inspection and maintenance of high-pressure gas cylinders, with instruction in valve repair and O2 cleaning procedures. Spaces must be booked ahead through the What's On page.

Ticket prices are $33 for single-day entry with unlimited re-entry, $60 for a weekend pass with access on both days, and $100 for a VIP weekend pass that includes magazines and a show t-shirt. Children under 16 get in free.

A separate Scuba Show will happen May 30-31 at the Long Beach Convention Center in California.
