Lavallette scheduled two weekend dates for pre-season beach badge sales. The town trails last year's income by $30,000. Sales reached $255,520 so far, down from $285,000 at this same point in 2025.
Councilman Michal Stogdill shared these numbers this week, per Shorebeat.com. Borough leaders think 2026 sales could surpass last year's total. That depends on one thing: better weather. Opening weekends in 2025 got hit hard by storms and rain.
New sale dates fall on Saturday, April 18 and Saturday, April 25. Passes go on sale inside borough hall. Hours run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days.
Residents can grab passes on weekdays too. Borough hall operates from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-season pricing lasts through April's end.
Season passes run $60 during pre-season. Seniors aged 65 and older pay just $25. After May 1 hits, season pass prices jump to $65.
Weekly passes cost $40 this year. Daily access runs $13.
The town tacks on a 3% fee to all credit card buys. American Express cards won't work for pass purchases.
