Mercer County Cultural Festival Accepts Applications for Vendors, Performers Through April 3

Mercer County officials want vendors, performers, and groups to apply for the 14th Annual Cultural Festival and Food Truck Rally on June 6. Admission will be free. The gathering takes place at Mercer County Park in West Windsor.
Craft vendors can apply if they sell goods tied to heritage or specific traditions. Food trucks qualify too. Nonprofit groups that want a booth should submit their paperwork online. Musicians and dance troupes need different applications. Deadline hits April 3.
County Executive Dan Benson said the festival returns as America marks 250 years since independence began.
"In Mercer County, we understand that our diversity is our strength," Benson said, according to Patch.com. "During this 250th year of American Independence, we're proud to bring our community together again to celebrate the people and cultures from every part of the world who have made Mercer County, and our nation, the vibrant place it is today."
Attendees will find live music and traditional dances. Food trucks will line up alongside a beer garden. Art demos, heritage crafters, and activities for kids fill out the day. Officials say the event honors how many different backgrounds call this county home.
Space is limited this year. Demand keeps climbing, so officials capped how many vendors and performers can join. A review panel will screen every application to ensure many traditions get represented.
Chosen participants hear back by April 10. Payment happens after that.
Businesses and nonprofits can request space to talk about what they do. The Division of Culture and Heritage picks who gets in.
Vendor and group applications live at forms.office.com/g/HHz7JUVrre. Performer applications for musicians and dance troupes are at forms.office.com/g/YzDvPN99zc.
