Mercer County will hold its 14th Annual Cultural Festival and Food Truck Rally on Saturday, June 6, at Mercer County Park in West Windsor. County Executive Dan Benson announced the free event on Friday.
Live music will fill the air. Traditional dance performances will take the stage. Food trucks will line up with treats from around the world, while a beer garden offers refreshments for adults. Art demonstrations will show creative techniques, and heritage crafters will share their skills. Kids can enjoy activities designed just for them. Applications are now open for vendors, performers, and organizations interested in taking part.
Craft vendors selling items tied to specific cultures or heritage can apply online. Food trucks are welcome. Nonprofit organizations can submit their interest too. The deadline to submit applications is April 3.
"In Mercer County, we understand that our diversity is our strength," Benson said, according to Patch. "During this 250th year of American Independence, we're proud to bring our community together again to celebrate the people and cultures from every part of the world who have made Mercer County, and our nation, the vibrant place it is today."
Selected participants will be notified by April 10. Payment will be processed after the lineup is finalized.
The county has capped how many vendors and performers can participate due to growing demand. All applications will be reviewed to ensure broad representation across the program.
Performer applications are open to musicians and dance groups. Both performer and vendor applications are available through online forms on the county website.
The Division of Culture and Heritage is coordinating the event. Interested parties can contact the office at 609-278-2712 or culturalfestival@mercercounty.org for more information.
The free community event celebrates residents from different parts of the world. West Windsor will host at the park location.
