Two Monmouth County residents struck gold. They won $3.8 million between them in separate drawings on Friday, Dec. 5, per New Jersey Lottery officials. One grabbed a $2,849,336 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot. The other snagged $1 million through Cash 4 Life.
The Jersey Cash 5 ticket came from One Stop Food Store at 804 Main St. in Belford, which sits in Middletown. Numbers drawn were 10, 17, 33, 38, and 43. The Bullseye hit 33, while XTRA landed on 02.
The store gets a $2,000 bonus. This win represents the game's 60th jackpot of 2025 and stands as the year's biggest single prize.
Someone bought the Cash 4 Life ticket at Country Farm, 3335 Adelphia and Wycoff Road in Adelphia, Howell Township. That person matched all five white balls but missed the Cash Ball.
Friday's Cash 4 Life numbers came up 34, 44, 50, 51, and 58, with a Cash Ball of 01. This marks New Jersey's sixth $1 million Cash 4 Life win this year.
Jersey Cash 5's jackpot peaked at $3.8 million on Oct. 7 when two people split it. Now it has dropped back down to $150,000 for Saturday night.
Besides Friday's jackpot winner, 68 people matched four out of five balls along with the Bullseye, earning $500 apiece. Seventeen of them grabbed an extra $500 by hitting the XTRA.
Cash 4 Life tickets run $2 each and feature two lifetime jackpots. The top prize pays $1,000 per day for life, with a lump sum worth $7 million right now. Second prize delivers $1,000 weekly for life, carrying a $1 million cash option.
Back in May, someone from Union County claimed the game's top prize by matching all five balls plus the Cash Ball. They took the $7 million lump sum.
Seven other prize tiers exist, ranging from $2 up to $2,500 — or as high as $5,000 if you add the Doubler. Drawings happen every day around 9 p.m.
