Players struck gold at the Jersey Shore as prize money topped $7 million between Oct. 6 and Oct. 12. The wins spread across Ocean and Monmouth Counties, state lottery officials said.

Through the Jackpocket app, one Ocean County player struck it rich. The mystery winner claimed $3 million in the Oct. 7 Mega Millions game. Officials kept quiet about where in the county the winner lives.

Lightning struck twice in Ocean County with Powerball wins. A ShopRite #609 customer in Lanoka Harbor won $50,000 on Oct. 6. Five days later, a player at Robin's Convenience in Beachwood matched numbers worth the same amount.

The biggest splash came from Tinton Falls in Monmouth County. A 7-Eleven customer on Pine Brook Road picked all five Jersey Cash 5 numbers on Oct. 7. That ticket paid out $1,908,863.

The winning streak kept going. A Belford player grabbed $10,000 playing Jackpot Millions at EZ Quick on Leonardville Road on Oct. 11.

This string of wins made waves at the shore. Players cashed in big across different games, with both counties adding major numbers to New Jersey's weekly payout total. The wins ranged from modest prizes to life-changing millions.
