Macaulay Culkin Coming to Atlantic City for ‘Home Alone’ 35th Anniversary Screening

Former child actor Macaulay Culkin is returning to Atlantic City's Ocean Casino Resort, for a special screening of Home Alone. The screening and chat with fans is set for Dec. 7, marking 35 years since the film's release.

The show, A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin, pairs the Christmas classic with stories from the set. Fans will watch the movie, then hear Culkin share tales about making the film that made him famous. Ocean Casino's website promises an inside look at why people still watch the movie each holiday season.

"Perfect for fans of all ages, this one-of-a-kind evening promises laughter, nostalgia, and holiday spirit in an unforgettable experience,” the event listing reads per Casino.org.

Tickets start at $45.85, fees included. The show starts at 4 p.m. The special VIP spots, which let fans meet Culkin and sit up front, sold out fast.

This stop fits into a bigger tour hitting 14 cities. It kicks off in Long Beach, California, on Nov. 22. At each stop, Culkin shares stories about his time as Kevin McCallister and talks about the film's lasting appeal.

Home Alone turned Culkin into a star back in 1990. His next big hits came with My Girl and The Good Son. When he quit acting in 1995, he'd earned more money than any kid actor before him.

Atlantic City keeps drawing big acts. The city's gaming profits jumped 3% through August. Players spent $53.2 million more at slots and tables than last year.

The entertainment keeps coming. Stevie Nicks hits Boardwalk Hall on Oct. 18. John Legend plays Ocean Casino on Nov. 1. Earth, Wind & Fire bring their sound to Hard Rock on Dec. 5-6. Jerry Seinfeld makes crowds laugh at Borgata on Dec. 12. Pitbull closes out the year with back-to-back shows at Hard Rock on Dec. 26-27.
