Students from Egg Harbor Township High School struck gold and now they'll get a big stage to play on. Their choir won the chance to perform with rock legends Foreigner at Atlantic City's Hard Rock Hotel & Casino this Oct. 10.

These young singers earned a prime spot opening the show. They'll start with their own songs, then join the band for their classic hit "I Want to Know What Love Is." As a bonus, their school's music department got a $500 boost.

Under Richard Tinsley's direction, the group stood out from other South Jersey schools. Each competing choir sent in videos showing their spin on the famous song. The judges picked Egg Harbor's version as the clear winner.

This performance lines up with a big moment for Foreigner. Fresh off their 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, they're sticking to their roots. Working with Lite 96.9, they've brought student choirs on stage for nearly two decades.

It's more than just a show: it's where classroom meets concert hall. Young voices get their shot at stardom, while schools get much-needed support for their arts programs. Short practices lead to big moments.

The Hard Rock stage lights up for two nights straight. While Foreigner plays both Oct. 10 and 11, the students take their bow on opening night. Atlantic City's famous boardwalk will buzz with both fresh talent and rock royalty.
