Fat Patty’s In Toms River Opening Likely This Fall
The latest foodie news in Toms River is that Fat Patty’s Burger Bar’s opening is eminent at 1111 Route 37 in the spot formerly occupied by Lot 1111.
Earlier this summer we wrote about the exciting news of Fat Patty’s announcement that they would be opening here at the Jersey Shore. In that article, it was mentioned that Fat Patty’s Burger Bar would be filling the space that once occupied The Mellow Mushroom, and Lot Eleven Eleven, a pub-type joint that wasn’t even open a year before closing its doors.
Now comes word that the new location will be opening very soon, with even a local Fat Patty’s Toms River website live.
My sources in the area are telling me this could be happening within the next 60 days…Around November 15th. This can only be described as another meatball slung in the ever-widening battle of the burgers in the Northern Ocean County town. From Burger 25 to Freddy’s Steak Burgers to the Five Guys that will be a French Fry throw away from the new Fat Patty’s, this is getting interesting for sure!

According to their website, Fat Patty’s sometime in the early 2000s, Fat Patty’s eventual creators decided to introduce their burger friends to the world. They opened the first of the Fat Patty’s franchises in Huntington, West Virginia, just a stone’s throw from Marshall University. They had big buns, big dreams, and a bunch of hungry students. This Toms River favorite has finally found a home in Silverton, after moving around town a couple of times. They do it all from Sunday Sauce to homemade Ricotta Lemon Zest Cheesecake. However you have to start your meal with their amazing Arancini Duo: 2 Deep Fried Rice Balls one filled with Bolognese Sauce & the other with Prosciutto & Mozzarella Cheese. Oh Lawd! If you want potato and no meat, try their potato croquettes, Arancini’s French Cugine!

These folks have been serving Ocean County for over 30 years and this location has great food and very reasonable prices. Try the rice ball or rice ball parm with a cup of their from scratch tomato sauce. you won’t be disappointed. One of Rockin’ Robyn Lane‘s favorite places too!

This Jack Of All Trades place has great food and even live entertainment. Their scratch made rice balls are outstanding and are just one of many delicious apps you can choose from. And yes, they are indeed a bakery with amazing desserts.
