It’s exciting to see our local businesses and attractions get national attention.
I can’t really say that I’m an expert on craft beers, but I do know a little bit about drinking them on a hot summer day.
My colleague, Carl Craft knows quite a bit about craft beer and the New Jersey places that create them. Carl has written several articles about craft beers that can be found in Monmouth & Ocean Counties.
My other colleague, Gotts doesn’t know much about craft beer either, but he knows where every craft brewery in New Jersey is located.
In fact, Gotts just visited Asbury Park Brewery at their new location on Sewell Avenue. Gotts and the RAT Pack received special invitations to the grand opening and Brian Fallon, the frontman for the band Gaslight Anthem was there to share pints with Gotts & the boys.
The craft beer scene has blown up and the Jersey Shore is front and center. Before I reveal which craft beer was crowned Best Craft Beer in the state, let’s take a look at how many craft breweries NJ calls home.
