Who Is Salty Paws?

According to their website, the company based out of Rehoboth Beach, says their brick-and-mortar, Salty Paws is the first Doggie Ice Cream Shop in the country. Some may say it is a dog restaurant so pet-friendly that customers can sit at tables while enjoying their treats! At Salty Paws they have created a unique interactive ice cream and retail experience. Customers can enjoy spoiling their pets while they shop for antlers, CBD, toys and so much more.

Kick back and watch your dogs enjoy cones, waffle bowls, or dishes full of dog-friendly ice cream with a topping bar that is undeniably a must for the pickiest of dogs!

From dehydrated chicken to sweet potato fries sprinkled on top or something delicious from the bakery section, it doesn't really matter because Salty Paws keep your dogs wagging for more!

But Wait, There's More...

Salty Paws doesn't just have Ice Cream Bars for dogs...They have traditional Ice Cream Trucks!!! The website goes on to say that it's been over 5 years since Salty Paws opened the first Doggie Ice Cream Bar in the US and the reaction has been nothing less than incredible. In August 2023 Salty Paws announced the launch of these highly anticipated Doggie Ice Cream Trucks and they are currently available for franchising under the Salty Paws brand.

The Salty Paws team believes this is the most natural road for expansion and taking the doggie ice cream bar concept on the road has opened so many options for current and future franchisees. The trucks carry everything from the famous doggie ice cream bars to doggie craft beers, smoothies, baked goods, toys and so much more! Wait, doggie craft beers???

Salty Paws Ice Cream Trucks will be available for catering parties, events, breed meet-ups, ice cream socials, dog shows, expos, neighborhood tailgates, and much more.

What About The Jersey Shore?

There is a Salty Paws Ice Cream Bar in Stone Harbor, just outside of Atlantic City. However, there appears to be none in Monmouth or Ocean Counties currently, let alone a Salty Paws Ice Cream Truck. Hmmmm, maybe I should quit this radio thing and start sellin' doggie ice cream and beer from my own doggie ice cream truck!

It was a beautiful day at ShoreTown Ballpark. Great crowd of people and of course dogs!

Believe it or not, Jimmy’s first job was overnights at a Christian Radio Station. He claims he got into radio because like Rocky Balboa once said, “cause I can’t sing or dance.” Jimmy loves to write about all local happenings, especially around his town of Toms River. Favorite Pastime (other than masturbation, of course): Cheering for the Yankees, and crying for the J-E-T-S!!! Favorite Food: Hot Sauce…I collect ’em! Favorite Drink: PRUNO…look it up, if you dare! Favorite Movies: The Exorcist, Planet of The Apes (the original), To Kill a Mockingbird, Annie Hall, and of course GF 1 & GF 2…I heard that’s how the real fans refer to them. Favorite Movie Line: easy…Murry-Caddyshack-“big hitter, the Lama”…f#$*in’ riot! Best Rat Rock Bands: STP, VH, ZEP, PEARL JAM, FOOS, PEPPERS,AC/DC Favorite New Bands: Glorious Sons, Rival Sons, Dirty Honey Most Embarrassing Moment: the moment my mother reads this shit! Best Day: I know a lot of folks say this, but it’s true: the day my little girl Jynell and my boy Big D were born! Next to that, it would have to be the day I was baked on earth day in Central Park and met Keefer Sutherland…baked too, I believe.
