Tommy’s Tavern + Tap is Coming To Wall Township
Tommy’s Tavern + Tap, who’s imprint on the Garden State is growing with over half a dozen restaurants now throughout the state, is opening another new place at the Jersey Shore.
According to AOL.com, the chain has signed a lease to open it’s 10th Jersey Tommy’s at the Brook 35 Plaza on Route 35 in Wall Township. This is great news, as folks living and working in that area of Route 35 have been hoping for some new foodie options. The plan is to lease 9600 square feet of space in the area of the plaza formerly occupied by William Sonoma and Ann Taylor. The Ann Taylor store closed back in 2020. Meanwhile, the Sonoma store just closed this past January.
Furthermore, this brings another restaurant to Brook 35’s roster, which includes Turning Point, located across Route 35; Just Salad, and Chipotle Mexican Grill. The restaurant, including the bar, will have more than 350 seats inside and a 40-person outdoor dining patio. There is no definitive timetable for the new eatery to open. However, most expect to be enjoying food and drink from Tommy’s newest location by the Fall of 2024.
More About Tommy’s Tavern + Tap.
Tommy’s Tavern + Tap was the creation of the late restaurant owner Tommy Bonfiglio, who sadly passed away in 2022. His partners and family have not only kept Tommy’s restaurants up and running, they have been able to expand, as evidenced by this announcement of the new Brook 35 Tommy’s location. All of Tommy’s have a couple of things pretty much in common. They are large places, that can handle a big crowd for happy hour or weekend dinner. Plus, they have a great menu filled with fun delicious items.
Here is a sample of the recent Fall/Winter menu from my favorite Tommy’s location, the beautiful Seabright Restaurant, right on the Shrewsbury River, with the Sea Bright Bridge in site.
