Women Have $250 Worth Of THIS That Goes Unused
Another question about women, another head scratcher for most men. Today’s What’s That Fact (WTF) Question on the Morning Rat Race hit the stumper button pretty quickly. Let’s be honest: Guys haven’t figured out women yet and likely never will. This morning show trivia question is always a good way to start the week.
Today’s What’s That Fact trivia question was:
“The average woman has $250 worth of THIS that she never uses. What is THIS?”
We got sent into a rabbit hole by the first wrong answer that was phoned into the studio. The first guy who called in had the answer, “nail polish”. As in, the average woman has $250 worth of nail polish that she never uses. That had me scratching my head because I honestly don’t know how much a bottle of nail polish actually costs. What was interesting in that phone call was that the guy said that his wife keeps her leftover nail polish in the refrigerator because she says that it lasts longer if you keep it in the fridge.
Is that true? Nail polish in the fridge? Because it lasts longer? I have never, ever found my wife, my ex-wife, my girlfriend’s nail polish in the fridge. Not once. After doing some digging on the internet it turns out that: No… You shouldn’t keep your nail polish in the fridge. According to a nail polish website (who knew that existed?!?!) if you store your left over nail polish in the refrigerator it could get ruined by condensation forming in the bottle. The condensation would cause the polish to have little bubbles as it dried on the fingernail.
So now you know.
As for the correct answer for today’s What’s That Fact trivia question: The correct answer was, “jewelry”. The average woman has $250 worth of jewelry that she never uses.
As for our favorite wrong answer for today’s morning show trivia question? Well, that was posted by Andy (last name redacted for his own safety) over on our station’s social media fan page:
