A Little Bit Of Nashville Coming To Wall Township, N.J. – New Restaurant Opening Soon
We were all sad when our beloved Circus Drive-In restaurant on Route 35 in Wall Township was torn down. Now we await the arrival of several new eateries at the 12,000 square foot shopping center on the site that once housed memories of our youth.
According to the Asbury Park Press, the shopping center will house Broad Street Dough Company, D’Amore’s Caffe & Toast,Greens and Grains, and Broadway Hot & Honey Chicken.
I’m excited to see more local businesses open within a few miles of my job at WRAT radio.
It looks like D’Amore Caffe & Toast has already opened their doors.
I especially love a good chicken place that serves chicken in a variety of ways. This place is owned by Michael Kelleher & Michael Falato, 2 great local guys from nearby Manasquan.
Chicken sandwiches are my personal favorite, chicken and waffles are a close second, and if you throw in freshly made biscuits, it’s a sure bet I’ll show up when this place opens.
Just a few days ago, Broadway Hot & Honey Chicken posted on their Facebook page, that they are working hard to open as quickly as possible.
I understand that great things take time and if these guys need a little more time to get this place up and running, I have no problem waiting as long as it takes.
I’ve been searching for photos all over the place to see what we’re in for.
I’ve been following them on Instagram like a maniac just to see what else besides chicken sandwiches, chicken and waffles, and those beautiful biscuits might wind up on their menu.
I’ve spied tenders with pickles and a large variety of dipping sauces & dressings.
I saw a post back in July of this year with a photo of a Nashville Hot 🔥 sandwich on a homemade buttermilk biscuit featuring a monstrous chicken breast first fried, then dipped in their signature Nashville hot sauce.
The chicken is then placed in a moisture controlled holding oven that allows the sauce to dry while the coating absorbs the heat, keeping it perfectly crispy.
They followed it up with a topping of pimento cheese and their signature hot honey.
We’ve been informed that this sandwich packs some serious heat. It has also been suggested we get a side of their homemade buttermilk dill ranch.
I am excited for the grand opening of all these new businesses, especially Broadway Hot & Honey.
*As I was about to publish this article, I was informed by one of the owners of Broadway Hot & Honey that they’re planning a huge grand opening in the Spring of 2024. You can bet I will be there to welcome them to the area with my fellow WRAT brothers and sisters.
