Wedding Dress Picture With Bizarre Reflection Shows Brides Arms In 3 Different Places
The wedding dress picture with a bizarre reflection shows the brides arms in 3 different places.
It’s been a while since we had a decent “dress controversy”. Here’s the next weird dress picture taking over the internet. This time it’s a wedding dress picture with a bizarre reflection.
Tessa Coates claims she was so creeped out by a photo of herself at a bridal shop, trying on a wedding dress that it almost made her sick.
In the photo, she’s standing with her back to the camera, in front of two mirrors. The bizarre part is that there seems to be three different versions of herself, one actually live, another in one mirror and still a different version in the second mirror. In each situation, her arms are in different places.
The bride-to-be claims that it’s a normal pic from her iPhone. Says the picture wasn’t a pano or a ‘live pic’.
I generally don’t get into the hype of internet nonsense, but this really is strange. Remember, look at her arms. And then remember, it’s a picture that each represents the same exact instant in time.
Here’s the picture:
Tessa says she took the picture to a “Genius Bar” at an Apple Store and nothing about the day explains why her wedding dress picture has a bizarre reflection.
Supposedly, employees at the Genius Bar were as confused as she was . . . but one of the bosses knew what happened.
According to the woman, the boss said that the iPhone isn’t a camera, it’s a computer, and the way it captures images is by taking a burst of shots . . . left to right . . . and then stitches them together, all in a split second.
He said that a quick movement of her arms . . . combined with the mirrors . . . created the illusion.
The internet says that doesn’t make much sense because why hasn’t this happened to any of “their” pictures but it actually makes a lot of sense to me.
There’s no OFFICIAL comment or explanation from Apple, but someone else suggested that it might be a result of some new technology that Apple is beta-testing, which tries to enhance photos by combining multiple elements.
These Famous Redheads Are Scorchin'
Natural-born redheads are a rarity in the world. According to World Population Review, black and brown-haired people are the most prevalent by a wide margin (particularly in Africa and Eastern Asia). Blonde is less common but still widespread. Red-haired people make up roughly two percent of the world’s population. Ireland and Scotland have the highest percentage of people with naturally red hair (13% in Scotland and 10% in Ireland).
Redheads have thicker hair than other hair colors, though they have less hair. On average, Redheads have 90,000 strands while blondes have 110,000, and brunettes have 140,000. Culturally, redheads are treated differently. In Polynesia, red hair is considered a sign that one’s ancestors were of noble status. At different times in history, Europeans have considered red hair a sign of immorality, lycanthropy (werewolves) or vampirism. Redheads are occasionally referred to as “gingers,” but this term is often considered disrespectful when used by non-redheads.
Genetically, red hair is the result of two recessive genes located on chromosome-16. When both of these recessive genes are present, they result in red hair, very light/fair skin, freckles, heightened sensitivity to temperature and UV/sunlight, and increased pain tolerance. Because of their commonly fair skin and sensitivity to UV light, redheads are more likely to develop skin cancer. The International Journal of Cancer reported in 2010 that natural redheads are approximately two and a half times as likely to develop the dangerous cancer as people with other hair hues.
Scientists have also suggested that one can be a natural redhead due to environmental factors. In fact, the United Kingdom’s high redhead population is believed to be caused in part by the weather. Because of a redhead’s heightened sensitivity to sunlight, their bodies are able to generate vitamin D more efficiently. This makes redheads slightly better-suited to the UK’s frequently cloudy and rainy weather.
