Korean BBQ Restaurant featured On Diner’s, Drive-Ins, & Dives Sets Sail For The Jersey Shore!
Dae Gee Korean BBQ, a Korean barbecue chain is headed for the Jersey Shore, and I’m excited.
It turns out that the couple who will be running these Korean BBQ restaurants are already familiar with Monmouth and Ocean County.
You may already know Brian and Carrie Devereux. They own Max Devros, a fantastic restaurant on Main St. in Manasquan.

I’ve written positive things about Max Devros a few times in the past. All of my comments were based on word of mouth and the great experiences my co-worker, Jaclyn Farago, her husband, and friends have had at this Manasquan hot spot.
We don’t know exactly where these Dae Gee Korean BBQ restaurants will wind up on the Jersey Shore because no leases have been signed just yet.
Brian and Carrie are still eyeing potential sites throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Dae Gee is a Colorado based Korean BBQ chain with locations in these Colorado cities: Fort Collins, Westminster, and Aurora. Plus, a location in Fort Wayne, Indiana. According to the chain’s website, coming soon to Sioux Falls, SD, Amarillo, TX, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Brian and Carrie Devereux signed a contract with Denver based Dae Gee Korean BBQ to open 4 locations across Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
As a foodie, I love the idea of Korean BBQ, a cuisine I can absolutely fall in love with.
We have a brand new Korean hot pot place in Toms River, called K-Pot on Route 37, now it’s time for Korean BBQ.
If you’re wondering what we are in for when Dae Gee Korean BBQ eventually opens, It’s all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue with traditional Korean recipes. Dae Gee’s model is very simple—“We’re focusing on higher-quality food with fewer menu items.”
Dae Gee will feature table-top open grill style cooking.
We’re talking, Beef Bulgogi, Chicken Bulgogi, Ginger Pancakes, Kimchi, and more.
Carrie Devereux said, “It’s nothing like we have out here, and we’re excited to bring it to the Jersey Shore.”
Trust me Carrie, I am as excited as you are, and I can’t wait for this experience.
Guy Fieri Filmed an episode of Diner’s, Drive-Ins, and Dives at Dae Gee in Denver with owner, Joe Kim back in 2015.
