You gotta love this sort of action.  Local reports say an anonymous man bought an entire section at the Phillies game beer!  Two rounds of beer!  Not just one round.  TWO!

It all happened at Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday (the same place that this lunacy happened).  That's when the Phillies were playing the Miami Marlins in Major League Baseball's Wild Card match up against the Miami Marlins.  The Phillies ended up winning the game, 7 to 1, which gave them the series.

Sure, Bryson Stott crushed a grand slam in the game.  However the real hero was in the stands that night.  Section 103, to be exact.

During the game an anonymous fan in section 103 bought a round of beers for the entire section.  However, they didn't do it just once.  They did it twice.  Two rounds.

We all know how ridiculously expensive beer is at sporting events.  Let's do the math for a second:

There's approximately 350 seats in that section.

I'll give the ballpark the benefit of the doubt and low-ball the beer price.  Let's figure each one cost $12.

That's $4200 a round or at least $8200

Not all hero's wear capes or slug massive game-winning grand slams.

Have a look at the beer vendor in the video below.  It's pretty classic.

He gets the legal part done with, "Have your ID's out" and lets everyone know that it was "free beer, courtesy of a man who doesn't want to be named".

According to comments on social media this is not the first time that the man bought an entire section at the Phillies game beer.  Apparently, it happens quite often!  What's more is that this beer vendor recognized the dude from when he works shuffling beverages at Eagles games.

Clearly everyone in the section appreciates the kind gesture from the mystery man.  They all look like they've had a couple of drinks by time the free ones come down from baseball heaven.  One of them drunkenly sputters out, "Looks like a bad day to be a Miller Lite can!"  Ok, cowboy.  Settle down.
