It Is National New Jersey Day 7-27-23

Hey Rat Rock Nation! Yeah your reading that post right and it's all about New Jersey today, a lot of great things to talk about that happen here and so much that goes down here. I know a lot of us really didn't ask for or want someone like "Snookie" at our beaches and Gio Da Verrazzano didn't put his life on the line as he walked the Jersey Shore to ever see that mess.

New Jersey has given up a lot, I mean look at all the great actors and musicians that came from here. Let's give you a couple of names that are from here, my man Jack Nicholson and rockstar Jon Bon Jovi, John Travolta, Bruce Willis, John Travolta, Bruce Springsteen, we got Martha Stewart who was partying here in Jersey, and Mr Blue Eyes himself  Frank Sinatra, so many to list and you can find more famous people from or live in New Jersey right here.

I mean New Jersey gave us the best pizza anywhere around! If you don't believe me go have some pizza out in the midwest and you will be saying "God I can't wait to get back to Jersey for some pizza" We are truly blessed when it comes to our slices and we take pride in that.

The Jersey Shore nightlife is where it is at too. With all the great nightclubs and bars with live local bands, you will always be leaving your troubles behind at the door. Even hanging out at the legendary Stone Pony catching some awesome shows in Asbury you will be catching some national acts over there.

We had the king boss of Jersey "Tony Soprano" RIP Jim Gandolfi who attended school here in New Jersey at Rutgers University.  So let's raise a drink up for New Jersey and even maybe some PORK ROLL and let's celebrate National New Jersey Day !! See more stories right here -Gotts 95.9 The Rat
